Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lextrove ("we", "us") collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. Because the Service handles personal messages, we treat your data with care and isolation by design.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — your name, username, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Waiting-list information — the email, name, intended use case, and any free-text notes you submit on our waiting-list form.
- Connected messaging data — when you connect an account, the messages, media, calls, contacts, and related metadata you choose to ingest.
- Usage data — basic logs and metrics needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service (for example, request times and error rates).
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide and operate the Service — to store, encrypt, index, search, and analyze the data you connect, and to return it in response to your queries; to authenticate you and enforce limits; to communicate with you (including about your waiting-list request); and to maintain the security and reliability of the Service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your connected content to train third-party AI models.
3. How We Store & Protect It
- Encryption — message bodies are encrypted at rest with a per-account AES-256-GCM key.
- Isolation — every record, query, and cache key is scoped to your account, so accounts cannot see each other's data.
- Access — access to production systems is restricted to what is necessary to operate the Service.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable technical and organizational measures.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, hosting and email delivery), bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations; or where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your connected data or close your account, after which we delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may access, export, correct, or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. The Service provides tools to export and delete your connected data; for other requests, email us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to secure the Service (for example, session and CSRF cookies). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
